One week — North Vietnam
Seven days was all we got to explore the North in the beginning of October. Seven days may seem a lot of time to spend in a small country; not for Viet Nam, though.
Ha Noi
Vibrant, live, authentic. I could summarize this city in those three words. It doesn’t matter if it was day or night, in Ha Noi there were always people out in the streets, no restriction of age, everybody was out walking around, whizzing around on hover boards, sitting in bars and restaurants in tiny chairs — like the ones my grandma bought for me and my cousins when we were kids.
The Old Quarter of Ha Noi was where we stayed, and that was where we needed to be. From Friday to Sunday they have night markets and that’s how we started getting to know the city.
