Exactly one year ago I took a leap — left everything behind, moved Down Under, had a fresh start to reinvent myself and my career.
What started with an idea of a GAP year — often associated with travelling and taking a break — became an upskilling experiment.
I’m one of those people that want to grasp a little bit of everything, I wanted to get out and understand what my options were, not knowing exactly where this would take me, aware that I would get uncomfortably out of my comfort zone. It was a year of trials and errors, of gaining a varied skill set, changing my perspective on career paths.
